Lighting the Way in Senior Care
Priority Life Care communities take pride in “Lighting the Way in Affordable Senior Care” and helping seniors of all financial backgrounds. Resident’s will find there are many affordable care options for paying for senior care. These options vary by state but could include: paying privately, Long-Term Care Insurances, Veteran’s Benefits, Veteran’s Aid & Attendance, Medicaid Waiver, Money Follows the Person, PACE, or other state funded programs.
The first step in researching financial programs is by calling your nearest Priority Life Care location closest to you (click here). We will help you find affordable care resources that are available to you.
Veterans, who served during wartime and who are 65 years and older, may qualify for a tax-free pension called “Aid and Attendance” awarded by the Department of Veterans Affairs. This Pension is part of the Veterans Benefit Program and was designed to provide financial aid for war era veterans to help cover the cost of care in an assisted living community. Managed Care and Medicaid Waiver
The Managed Care and Medicaid Waiver programs are operated by each individual state. Participants of these program must also participate in the Medicaid program and qualify for care services for Activities of Daily Life (ADL). ADLs may include assistance with bathing, dressing, medication assistance, and more.
Other Affordable Care Programs
Additional state funded programs, such as Money Follows the Person or PACE, may also be available. Additional requirements can be discussed with the admissions person of the Priority Life Care location nearest you.
