Fort Wayne, IN, January 19, 2023 – Priority Life Care is pleased to announce the promotions of Mark Starks to Senior Vice President of Operations, David Kloster to Vice President of Operations, and Marisa Williams to Senior Director of Sales & Training.

Mark is responsible for upholding the profitability and values of Priority Life Care by leading our business strategy and operations. Mark works with the PLC leadership team to determine and develop business needs, goals, and initiatives. Mark also has a passion for training and development that results in a staff that can “promote from within.”
Mark has over 15 years in the field and is a nurse and clinical trainer. Working in geriatric care as a charge nurse for 6 years/ Pediatric trach and vent care for 2 years/ Home Health care cases for 2 years followed by his passion at PLC in which he feels he can and will make a meaningful difference.
He is a native of Ft. Wayne IN, where he lived for 40 years. Mark moved to Florida (now a secondary home) where he lived for 10 years and married his wife Diane Starks and 3 children. Mark and Diane recently bought a home in Las Vegas just 3 months ago.
Mark enjoys smoking good cigars to relax after a hard day at the office. He also is a car enthusiast and loves to hit the racetrack from time to time.
Dave is responsible for the planning and implementation of community operational strategies and tactics to fulfill state compliance, PLC policies and procedures, and the financial health of PLC communities. Dave’s role is also responsible for employee growth and retention as well as motivating community staff to support the well-being of residents.
Dave has been in senior living for over 18 years. He started his senior living career as Dining Director, working his way to Executive Director, Ops Specialist, and now VP of Operations. Dave was hired by Priority Life Care along with the transition of the 17 Celebration Villa portfolio in 2021.
Prior to senior housing, Dave ran restaurants for 10 years and received his Degree in Healthcare Administration from Kaplan University.
Dave is married to wife Janina, of 20 year and has 2 children. When not working, enjoy camping, kayaking, and run a BBQ catering business.
Marisa is responsible for PLC’s Sales and Marketing training. She creates training strategy that includes our regional sales and community-level marketers to help communities increase both their reach and potential for increasing revenue and occupancy.
Marisa started in senior living as a Marketing Assistant and worked her way up to Sales Director in less than a year. During this time, Marisa spent several years studying and working the Traci Bild sales system. Marisa joined PLC at the end of 2021 as a Regional Director of Sales managing a sales team from thirteen communities in PA, MD, and SC.
Marisa lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and two Golden Retrievers. Marisa enjoys spending time with family and just about any outdoor activity including hiking and kayaking.
