Fort Wayne, IN, March 22, 2022 — Priority Life Care (PLC), a national senior housing operator, has announced the promotion of Ryan Person to Chief Strategy Officer. Ryan will have the primary responsibility of driving decision-making that sustains organizational change and executes the vision and mission of Priority Life Care.
“Most recently, Ryan has been a key part of our success in business development and transitions,” said Bobby Petras, COO of PLC. “We are thrilled to promote him to this important position in our company.”
Ryan officially joined the PLC family in 2017 as the executive assistant to the CEO and COO, after working alongside Petras family since 2014. He quickly rose to Director of Operations, assisting mainly in Indiana communities. From there, Ryan headed up the business development department. He has been a key lead in the development of both external practices within the communities and internal. Ryan has overseen the transition of 50+ communities, ensuring a smooth process for both community management, employees, and residents.
In Ryan’s new position, he will also further the sales and client-relationship management, proposing and developing new strategic partnerships, and guide long-term objectives to meet business needs and requirements.
Ryan graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 2009 with a degree in Marketing and Graphics Design. Shortly after graduation, he was recruited to the DC market to be a Marketing Director for an Advertising Specialties company. After 2 years, he decided it was time for a change and moved out to New Mexico to be the Program Director for a High Adventure Camp/Ranch. Ryan fell in love with the life of a cowboy, beginning to purchase horses and cattle. From there, he got the itch to be entrepreneurial and opened a CrossFit gym.
The CrossFit gym is where he met the Petras family. Bobby purchased his gym in 2014 and hired him as a coach at the newly merged Mad Apple Fitness. After another stint in New Mexico, living the cowboy life, Bobby convinced Ryan to move back to Indiana for the opportunity to work alongside him and his sister, Sevy Petras (CEO). In his free time, you can find him looking for horses online to add to his small operation out west or hanging out with friends watching sports.
