Contact UsThis is just like indpendent living. It’s a community of peers able to live their lives as they want, come and go, or joining in the fun. But if they need a little help? We’re here to give them some assistance.
Assisted Living is just like retirement or independent living, but with extra services including on-site caregivers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Residents receive personalized assistance to support their independence. Seniors can come and go as they please and invite friends and family to visit or join them for a life enrichment class or a meal.
Our residents love living where their social life is at their doorstep. And there’s no worrying about daily upkeep and maintenance of a house. Our community is a new home.
What is Assisted Living Care?
Assisted Living refers to a certain level of care that a person, generally over the age of 55, may need. Assisted Living care usually begins when a person is mostly able to live independently, but needs help with one or more of the following:
The care that each resident receives at a Priority Life Care community is unique to his or her needs. Each resident is assessed upon move-in and regularly thereafter. This ensures that residents are always receiving the proper care for their needs.
Additional services include, but may not be limited to: medication assistance and administration, mobility assistance, and continence maintenance.
Residents may choose to stay with their primary physicians. We also offer on-site visits from medical providers to make it easy for residents. Common site visits include: physicians and nurse practitioners, dentists, podiatrists, home health, and physical therapy.
How much does assisted living cost?
Each community is different and each resident is different. We won’t know the total rate until we understand the resident’s level of care. The level of care is determined by the amount of help a resident requires. We use an assessment tool and follow state guidelines for level of care in each of our communities.
Do residents have private rooms and baths?
Most of our assisted living residents have their own private apartments with private bathrooms. It is also possible to request a shared room for couples or close friends or semiprivate rooms. We encourage residents to decorate their rooms with items from home such as pictures, bedding, a chair or small couch, or a favorite dresser to make them feel comfortable and at home.
Can my loved one leave the community?
Residents are able to come and go as they please. For safety reasons, we require residents to sign in and out of the community. If a resident is leaving the community for an extended amount of time, we can prepare “to-go” medications, as necessary.
What will my loved one do while they’re in the community?
Our hope is that your loved one continues to be active and involved in everyday life. Our Life Enrichment Centers offer different activities throughout the day and outings into the local community. Our friendly staff get to know the residents on a personal level and schedule activities that encourage residents to meet new people and continue with their interests and hobbies.
